How can clients review hairstylists and read reviews?

Clients can review hairstylists after their appointment. To read reviews, navigate to a hairstylist's profile where you'll find ratings and comments from other clients.

Download the app from your device's app store, then choose to sign up or log in. You can use email, Gmail, or Apple ID for authentication.

What does the client onboarding process involve?

During onboarding, you'll be asked to provide basic information about yourself and your hair type and preferences. This helps us personalize your experience and match you with suitable hairstylists.

What can I find on the client dashboard? 

The dashboard displays your upcoming appointments, recommended hairstylists, and quick access to key features like booking and your profile settings.

How can I see available hairstylists?

Use the 'Find Hairstylists' feature on your dashboard. You can browse through profiles, view their portfolios, and check their availability.

How do I book an appointment? 

Select a hairstylist, choose a service, pick an available time slot, and confirm your booking. Or alternatively, start with the hairstyle and continue selecting the hairstylist. The app will guide you through each step of the booking flow.

Can I review my appointments? 

Yes, after each appointment, you'll have the option to leave a review. Go to your settings and select „Past Appointments“, here you can review your stylist. This helps other clients and provides valuable feedback to hairstylists.

How do I cancel an appointment?

Go to your upcoming appointments, seen in the dashboard, and tab the cancellation button. Please note any cancellation policies that may apply.

What settings can I adjust in the app?

In the settings, you can update your profile information, change your preferences, add payment methods, logout, switch to a professional account or delete your profile.

How do I sign up as a new hairstylist?

You can sign up using your email, Gmail, or Apple account. After signing up, you'll go through an onboarding process to set up your profile.

How do I log in to the app as a hairstylist?

You can log in using your email, Apple ID, or Gmail account. We offer multiple login options for your convenience.

How do I set my availability?

 In the app, navigate to your profile in the settings. Then go to the the availability section, where you can set your working hours and days off.

How do I manage my payout information?

 You can manage your payout details in the payout section of the settings. Here, you can add or update your banking information for receiving payments and enable/disable cash payment. You can also add and edit your tax number.

What can I do on the barber dashboard?

The dashboard provides an overview of your appointments, earnings, and client information. It's your central hub for managing your barbering business.

How do I verify my phone number?

If you haven't already done it in the onboarding process, go to the settings section and select 'Verify Phone'. You'll receive a verification code via SMS to confirm your number.

How do I add a new hairstyle to my portfolio?

Go to your profile and use the 'Add Style' (+) feature to add a pre-selected hairstyle or to create a new one. Then upload photos of new hairstyles you offer and required conditions of your clients hair.

How do I manage my portfolio?

Go to the settings and select "My Profile". Here you can add, edit, or remove hairstyles and photos to showcase your work. You can adjust your availability and much more.

How do I interact with salons on the app?

The app allows you to connect with salons. You can search salons, apply to work at salons, and manage your salon working conditions.

Where can I view my earnings?

Check the 'Revenue' section in the dashboard to see a breakdown of your earnings, with all necessary information.

The calendar feature allows you to view and manage all your upcoming appointments. You can also block off time for personal use.

How do I accept a new appointment?

When a client books an appointment, you'll receive a notification. You can then view and accept the appointment in the dashboard.

If you need to cancel, go to the appointment in your calendar and select the cancel option.

How can I switch between user accounts?

You can easily switch between user accounts by accessing the account settings menu and selecting the "Switch Account" option. This allows you to toggle between client, hairstylist, and salon profiles if you have multiple roles within the Fades & Braids app.

How do I create a new salon account using email?

 To sign up for a new salon account using email, tap "Sign Up as Professional" on the main screen, select "Salon", then choose "Email". Enter your email address, create a strong password, and fill in the required salon information. Follow the prompts to complete your account setup.

Can I create a salon account using my Gmail or Apple ID?

Yes, you can create a salon account using your Gmail. On the signup page, select the "Sign up with Google" option. Choose your desired Gmail account and grant the necessary permissions. To create a salon account with your Apple ID, choose "Sign up with Apple" on the registration page. Follow the Apple authentication process.

How do I log in to my salon account using email?

To log in to your salon account using email, simply open the Fades & Braids app, select "Salon Login", enter your registered email address and password, then tap "Log In". Make sure you've previously signed up for a salon account to use this method.

Can I use Apple ID or Gmail to log in to my salon account?

Yes, you can use your Apple ID to log in to your salon account. On the login screen, look for the "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Gmail" option. Tap it and follow the prompts to authenticate using your credentials.

What is the salon onboarding process like?

 The salon onboarding process guides you through setting up your salon profile. You'll be asked to provide information such as your salon name and address.

In the dashboard you will see inquiries of hairstylists and can make an offer or decline them. In the team section of the settings, you can add new stylists by making them an offer for using your salon rights.
